Bio:

I am a Researcher at TU Darmstadt concerning myself with why programmers struggle, especially in the context of using cryptographic APIs. I am one of the people guiding the efforts to take CogniCrypt (https://www.eclipse.org/cognicrypt/), a framework to aid developers use crypto APIs securely.

In the not so distant past, I was also a Language engineer at Itemis, developing software tools and IDEs for domain-specific languages, specifically Mbeddr (http://mbeddr.com/).

Prior to my stint in the industry, I finished my PhD building semi-automatic Software tools to aid with tasks arising out of source code evolution a.k.a abstracting copy-paste code and migrating between different data representations.
